Scholarships
Academic achievement, service in the community and the association, and financial need are all considered when awarding scholarships.
Step 1: Are you Eligible?
❏ Applicant must be at least a third-year undergraduate student (P1).
❏ Applicant must be a Maine resident enrolled in a U.S. accredited College of Pharmacy – OR – a student registered at a College of Pharmacy in Maine.
❏ Applicant must be a member of MPA.
Step 2: Materials Checklist
❏ Please submit a list of College and Community activities, including all clubs, activities, sports, etc. in which you have participated. Include all offices you have held and honors you have received.
❏ Please submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, employer or mentor.
❏ Please Submit a statement, not to exceed one page, describing your educational goals and plans upon graduation.
❏ Please explain any unusual family circumstances which may relate to your request for financial assistance.

Steven A. Zanardi Memorial Scholarship
Steve Zanardi was a well respected and dedicated pharmacist who graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, class of 1976. Steve passed away on November 24, 2017. In honor of Steve’s dedication to his profession, his family created the Steven A. Zanardi Memorial Scholarship. Memorial donations may be made to the Steven A. Zanardi , P.O. Box 347, Hampden, ME 04444.
